Frequently Asked Questions

How do I export a HAR file from my browser?
Open DevTools (F12) and go to the Network tab, then reload the page so the requests are recorded. In Chrome and Edge, click the download arrow ("Export HAR") or right-click a request and choose "Save all as HAR with content". In Firefox, right-click a request and choose "Save All As HAR". In Safari, use the Export button in the Network tab.
Which columns does the CSV contain?
One row per request with: startedDateTime, totalTime_ms, method, url, status, statusText, mimeType, responseSize_bytes, requestBodySize_bytes, responseBodySize_bytes, send_ms, wait_ms and receive_ms. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets to sort slow or failed requests.
HAR files can contain cookies and tokens. Are they in the CSV?
No. Request and response headers, cookies and bodies are not written to the CSV, only the columns listed above. That makes the CSV safer to share than the raw HAR file.
How do I convert HAR to CSV?
Upload your HAR file above, click Convert, and download the CSV result instantly. No account or software needed.
Is converting HAR to CSV free?
Yes. It is free and unlimited for files up to 5 MB, with no account required. Larger files get 3 free conversions per day; beyond that, credit packs start at $3 and credits never expire.
Are my files stored or shared?
No. Files are processed in server memory and deleted immediately after conversion. File contents are never written to disk or retained.
Do I need to install anything?
No software installation needed. OmniConvert runs in the browser — just upload, convert, and download.
